We are monitoring the situation closely. Six patients have already been confirmed. Two more cases are still under investigation. But the most frightening fact is that the virus is spreading to the mainland.

It all started on the cruise ship MV "Hondius". At night, six people felt ill. They were taken to a hospital in Argentina.

Argentine authorities have confirmed that it is indeed hantavirus. The passengers are now in quarantine.
